The Wee Bonnie Bakery
A cottage food business in Chicago selling Scottish inspired baked goods. You can find Scottish inspired treats like Shortbread, Millionaire Shortbread, and Empire Biscuits. We recreate UK snacks such as The Wee Jammie Ones (based on Jammie Dodgers) and The Wee Orange Ones (based on Jaffa Cakes). Why not try some afternoon tea specials with classic cakes like Victoria Sponge, Lemon Drizzle, and Carrot Cake. If you have a celebration coming up, why not ask for a Custom Celebration Cake made to suit any occasion!

About the Baker
Colin is a baker from Scotland who began creating sweet treats in 2014. He has grown his passion and knowledge of baking over the years, teaching himself how to recreate his favorite baked goods growing up. His favorite thing to bake is his family Shortbread, which he says goes well with a dram of whisky.
He has made a name for himself online as Colin’s Time to Bake on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram, and even has a recipe published in the Official TikTok Cookbook ‘As Cooked on TikTok’ by Penguin Randomhouse.

Our Goal
Our goal is to provide hand made Scottish and UK snacks to the USA and create the comfort of Scotland in your own homes.
We are a small business right now and our next goal is to get into a shared kitchen space in order to expand our shipping radius, we can currently ship our gift boxes within Illinois, and provide snacks/cakes/cupcakes for pickup ordering within the Chicago area.
Our end goal is to open a brick and mortar space that resembles a Scottish living room, where you are welcomed in with a freshly baked item and a delicious cup of tea. Follow us on Social Media to see our journey.
